2021 Magic City Classic Economic Impact
Over the past decade, tourism has emerged as a leading economic engine for the Birmingham economy. Leisure and Hospitality is among the fastest growing economic sectors in the Birmingham region and employed more than 50,000 people (pre covid). Birmingham is aggressively cultivating a tourism ecosystem that will better position Birmingham as a tourism destination.
